In the past, medieval kings would take small amounts of cyanide on purpose to slowly build up an immunity towards it. So why don't we breed local predators to develop an immunity to cane toads, by feeding them small chunks of cane toad flesh and selectively breeding the ones with the best tolerance an appetite towards them? Then simply release them in places where there are tons of Cane Toads?
