>>12977566but your comment won't change anything at all. The reason why people tell op this is because it's just not a thing. And it's not even like op would waste a lot of time with it. He'd fail/get bored eventually. You'd need to be a savant to not get bored, even those guys have a VERY SPECIFIC interest that they go in deep.
You can have multiple shallow-ish interest, but if you wanna go into it to the level of creating something from nothing you'll need to go deep. It's just not a thing that ever happens. I am not saying op couldnt do it. He's very likely to not do it. Statistically. It's so fucking boring you have no idea. Chances are he's in high school discovering the world and brings the fire in his heart and the believes you can learn things totally as in he did in highschool. Which is honestly fine. But neither their, your, or my comment will actually affect him. The kind of task he wants to accomplish (building a thing from 0 to 100 all parts) is insanely convoluted and at some point he'll just stop and take someone else's work on it.
I am not saying you can't create a computer. My point is that at some point you'll take someone else's work, code, math, engineering realization, physics property and that's fine. No need to reinvent everything from scratch
Addressing >You don't need a damned degree for every part...
Of course you don't, the degree is just what it is, a paper to prove you went through blood and tears(hopefully) to cram decades of knowledge in your brain in 4 years. But i can tell you right now no CE,CS, EE can design a computer from leaf to running minecraft. It's just so incredibely dull to do.
