>>12976364"However, the sudden application of relatively large concentrations of PUFAs in an in vitro situation is not physiological, and our results do not necessarily imply that human consumption of PUFAs would be expected to kill thymocytes."
The rest of the paper is very interresting, but what Ray Peat says is nowhere to be found in this paper. He just invented that.
"In summary, our study shows that acute application of omega-3 and -6 fatty acids kills thymocytes through a sequence of events that includes release of calcium from ER, which causes an increase in ROS, coming primarily from mitochondria. Further study is necessary in order to determine the exact mechanisms that cause release of calcium from ER and generation of ROS in mitochondria."
Basically, Ray Peat, whoever the fuck that is, is incorrect. The study didn't show what he claims. And this is the reason why you NEVER cite blogs as your source. As soon as you dig deeper, you see it's fake. Funny thing is, they rely on it being closed off to the general public. t
They know most people won't try to check the sources and even less will know the light Alexandra showed us. Do correct me if I missed something important in the paper.
