Studying population genetics and g loading. Then finding out that blacks do worse on g loaded tests. It’s kind of hard to apply genetics/evolution to humans and not realize here are genetic components to different races.

but more realistically, it's not yet possible to create designer babies. But you can do a quite expensive process of detecting known genetic problems and fixing them. I can't quickly find it on google, but there are companies offering the expensive service of IVF-gene screening so parents don't have retarded children

It doesn't make sense to do it with selective breeding because it would take too long and be too expensive.
When you say selective breeding, think it out.
You select the "best" humans, then breed them. This ignores polygenic traits, and recessive genes and etc. You also have to stop the "worst" humans from breeding. Which will lead to conflict.
It's easier to just offer inexpensive genetic engineering
