anyone claiming there's "no evidence for extraterrestrial intelligence therefore we're the only civillization in the galaxy" has their head stuck up their own ass, we've only been searching for less than 100 years, we assume advanced aliens would even use the same non-FTL archaic radio communication we do, and we've found at least 1 potential signal in 1977 already via the "Wow!" signal that still does not have a widely accepted explanation to this day. the search is an ongoing process and I just hope progress is made before I die. the analyzation of exoplanet atmospheres should produce some interesting results in the near future.
