I've essentially been training for a job since I was born, on average it takes 22-23 years before a person is employable w/ a bachelors, and with masters being required we're moving closer to 24-27. Life's only so long.
I agree our schooling should be more cost-effective, and they shouldn't let everyone and their dog sign up to be a history major but should maybe limit capacity to something that aligns more closely with employment prospects unless you sign a waiver stating "I do not expect employment".
