I'm able to stop my hiccups through thought alone. I do it in front of my friends and coworkers and they are amazed at it. I don't exactly know how I do it I just tell myself stop hiccuping and clear my head and boom they are gone. How do I learn to transfer this to anxieties, depression and emotion? It took me 5-10 years just to stop hiccups via thought but I want to learn to also do this when I get angry or sad. Is there any scientific basis for what I'm able to do? This might seem weird but it's a genuine question I want to be able to kill off my anxiety in the same way I can kill my hiccups.
