I've been educating myself about the Universe in a casual "watching documentaries and reading a few websites" kind of way, and the more I learn the scarier it gets. The Universe clearly hates life and wants to destroy it every chance it gets, and also things like voids billions of light years across and galaxies moving away from us so fast us that they will eventually disappear just makes me panic.
Anyone else get this dread from the reality of what we are actually looking at?
