If IQ affects the development of Africa, then why is southern Nigeria vastly more developed than northern Nigeria?

I have a southern Nigerian friend irl. From what he tells me the north is full of Muslim extremists while the south is full of Christian ones. While both sides have gangs, the south is more stable

Because the Arab Muslims in Saudi Arabia & Egypt are way smarter than any Niggerian.

South Niggeria is a wet Rainforest.

North Niggeria is a dry Savanna bordering Sahara, more hostile for survival.

South Niggeria has Reserves of Oil (Petroleum)
That explains the higher GDP.

Just like Iran and Saudi Arabia.
The population is dumb but the region is blessed with Oil.
