What are the scientific underpinnings behind being "cool"? Is it based on subjective perception by others, or are there absolute traits associated with what we define as "cool"? Can coolness be chalked up to general likeability, or are there instinctive factors that make someone "cool"? One such example would be confidence being an indicator of competence, and relaxed demeanor in addition would equal collected, but not a tight ass, or tyrannical. Also, are there levels to cool, like cool->badass->inspirational->Out of league->etc?
