How much do first impressions matter? Especially when it comes to social shit? If I come off autistic or bad socially will they reject me?

A lot. If it's a programming interview you should have already gotten past the HR gate of checking if you're human and this is the technical gate.

There's leeway for code-monkeys. A lot of sperglords have set the bar low. But if you're a legal liability, they'll shitcan you. If you're not functional, they'll shitcan you. If you're just socially awkward and not a butterfly, meh. They'll hire someone without social issues if they can, but often they can't.
