>>12954856>>12957483Incredibly based takes, when I was young I always considered teachers to be intelligent people, I took their word as gospel, if these people are in charge of moulding me into a functional member of society, in charge of teaching me how the world works, they must be smart right? I can remember pretty vividly the moment I realised that teachers are morons, It was towards the end of my schooling, and we where discussing future careers in a class, and when it got to one kid, who said they want to be a teacher, it hit me instantly, this dumbass is going to be a teacher? well sure, what's stopping him, entry isn't that hard, and it's only a 3 - 4 year degree, I realised all of my teachers past and present, at the time, were the same, they're just some normie stacey or chad, who got average results in high school and took a 4 year course on how to read shit straight out of a textbook to kids. Teaching at one point probably was a noble job that attracted academic, or intelligent people who took it as a duty to shape the future, but now it is flooded with dumb shits who still think they are going into a noble career.
