Antigravity?

I know the marble on the taut rubber sheet is a flawed representation of gravity and how mass distorts spacetime, but bear with me.
Imagine something like pic related or the rubber sheet and marble. If i was able to rapidly remove or 'disappear' the marble, the rubber sheet would snap back and for a moment, it would go beyond flat and become convex before returning to true. Would space distorted by a mass have a momentary 'snapping back' perhaps causing a repulsive pulse or gravitational wave if you could disappear the large mass instantly?
Im just thinking that if space can bend and wave/ ripple in a 3d manner, it may be able to bend outwards instead of inwards, at least for a moment. Midwit here so wondering how retarded this is.
