What is the physical or mental deformity rate of brother-sister incest? Is it 10%? 25%? 99%? Have any studies been done that can put a number to this?

It can be 0. It depends on recessive genes. You can eventually breed out deformities if you cull correctly.

I have this on inbreeding depression.
Short version is it fucks you up, even without any obvious super deformity. I think I read somewhere that the risk of a diagnosed genetic abnormality goes from 1% to 5% for 1st cousins.

I remember we went from something like 40-50% mortality before adulthood to ~1%...
maybe it's a good thing in some way that only a few people are reproducing at least it means there's some selection on reproduction...

The usual paper on this is Seemanová, 1971, who found 65% significant deformities in ~100 cases of father/daughter incest. Neel and Adams, 1967 also found about 25% deformities between first cousins.
