How can I become a "permaneet student"?

Hi /sci/, I hope you are doing well today. I quit my job yesterday (robotics engineer) because I’m going insane and wageslaving sucks. I’m trying to achieve a peaceful, solitary life of self-study and I’m wondering if any of you would be willing to give me your input/advice.
Resources at my disposal:
>$12k in liquid cash savings
>$35k in crypto
>$20k in retirement accounts (10k in IRA, $10k in Roth IRA)
>Paid-off car, zero monthly expenses other than $800 rent
>No debt (full ride for undergrad due to national merit scholarship)
Other details about my life
>23 years old
>from the USA
>I’ve spent the past year working as a freelance software engineer developing cutting-edge patented (and pending) technology in the robotics and machine learning space
>Fucking hate being a wageslave
Even though my freelance status gives me flexible hours and I find the topic interesting it’s still driving me insane to be limited by a profit-based bottom line instead of just spending my days exploring what interests me
I’m desperate to escape this hell. I’m considering becoming a NEET just so that I can spend all my days freely studying whatever I’d like to. But my life savings are far from enough to support that on a continuous basis unless I take drastic measures to lower my cost of living
>Which is where pic related comes in
I’m unironically leaning towards the idea of buying a decommissioned 17-foot moving truck, and spending several thousand more dollars to turn it into a livable space. It would be about 100 square feet (9.3 square meters for you euros) with over 7 feet / 213cm of vertical space.
The gas fees could get expensive but I don’t feel the need to travel too much. I just want to be able to live on my own, undisturbed, without needing to rely on continuous employment to ensure I have a roof over my head.
>Is anyone else interested in this sort of lifestyle?
>Have you achieved it?
>Am I a faggot?
