>>12950029No, but I have worked both on construction sites and as a design/controls engineer at a machine builder so I know first hand what tradesmen like electricians, plumbers, construction workers, welders, etc are like. Half my family are doctors so I also know what nurses are like and which parts of the job they're expected to be able to perform.
They work with their hands. They do the dirty work. Just like an electrician is expected to learn some basic design and standard validation concepts in order to accomplish simple jobs without an engineer telling them what to do, a nurse can likewise perform simple medical procedures and make highly complex inferences like "if someone's head hurts you can give them an aspirin" or something even when a doctor is not present.
