Might be, might not be. Mareks is an alphaherpesvirus while covid is a coronavirus. alphaherpesvirus types typically induce carriers and shedders for life, such as in herpes simplex; while with coronaviruses, the shedding period is relatively short.
The point is, comparing the covid vaccine to Mareks is a stretch at best. Lost of research will be done to see if the vaccine for covid is even leaky or if it does in fact prevent transmission. If so, the risk of a Mareks like outcome is little to none.
