I've never been obsessed by the IQ bullshit but scrolling through /sci/ for a while made me think about the correlations between IQ and actual smarts.
I've only taken the test three or four times in my lifetime seriously and I've always been in the 120-128ish range but I see my peers in college struggle with stuff I'm zooming past like it's nothing, I've already covered half of the classes I was supposed to take this semester and filled in my spare time with shit like differential geometry, complex systems and measure theory, although I've recently started procrastinating reading schizo ramblings on /x/ and I'm starting to forget some stuff from last semester, so I'm probably gonna need a refresher soon, it doesn't help that some of the schizo ramblings are starting to make sense.
