Hey /sci/borgs, I need a bit of help on deciding what degree program to study, hoping some guys here have obtained these degrees or work in the field.
I'm looking at electrical engineering, computational mathematics, or data science. All BS.
I'm an ELT in the Navy and I expect to get this all paid off by tuition assistance, and use the GI bill for a free master's program in something related.
Generally I'm just looking for a field of work where I can be left alone to sit in a chair in front of a computer, which I think all three can do. I'm leaning towards comp math, as it seems more general and I can specialize later in a masters program.
Kind of lost as I really have no idea what kind of jobs are out there besides the navy. Thanks guys.
