It's normal to want to be enthusiastic about new physics, but if you chimp out about new particles and new fundamental forces at every experiment that shows a not-yet-statistically-significant discrepancy between theoretical prediction and experimental results, you'll get exhausted fast.
Don't get excited while it's not confirmed. Don't give credence to clickbait titles, sensationalized articles designed to catch your eye for ad revenue. Wait for more results to come out, then get genuinely excited if it's confirmed, or more likely, get smug when it's not.
