I imagine the fear of celestial bodies and phenomena is a combination of autophobia and thanatophobia as others have said. A fear that's deeply rooted in the awareness of cytotoxicity of planets on a molecular and microscale but also the physical anomalies on a sub-atomic level like the crushing gravity of Jupiter.
Space in itself is a crushing vacuum and stars are uncontrollable furnaces emitting radiation at lethal levels constantly. Something in the pea brain of every sentient animal knows this even microorganisms, the fear response in mammals and animals is just this phenomena expanded upon.
I once had a dream of a black hole engulfing earth in my backyard and the last image of my body was frozen stuck in position forever slowly moving through an endless void of space forever inside the event horizon.
