>>12946508That's fair enough anon, but it assumes all science, all scientists, and above all the popular reporting & conception of science (and "Science"), DOES strictly follow the scientific method. It would be foolish to suggest it always does, or that other human faliability (such as agenda, bias, misunderstanding and deception) do not also come into play.
Ideally, application of the scientific method would *encourage* scepticism, incredulity, challenge and debate. I put it to you that, currently, this is seldom the case.
