Does the line reach infinity faster as the angle chance to zero. Due to its linear motion i would say yes. So no 0,999 is not 1.

The infinite expansion of 0.999... being equal to 1 is not counterintuitive at all. Since the number has infinite decimal places (precision), the differerence must go to 0. In a machine that has finite precision, 0.9999... is always stored as a finite decimal expansion and hence less than 1.
