Hey /SCI/ I am thinking of becoming a Tutor
Any recommendations on media to trick kids to get into STEM- I am thinking something similar to Doctor Stone maybe do some boy scout buildings to make things more interesting but I need some advice to spice things up.

maybe a youtube channel or something like that

The key is to let them spend 99 % of the time exploring on their own. Any subject becomes interesting when you can come up with things on your own instead of sittning and watching someone else show step by step how to do something. As a tutor you should only guide them in the right direction

Second you need to update your lingo and use emojis a lot. A math problem is no longer "true" or "false" but based or cringe.
Third you need to open a Soundcloud account to upload your short mathrap tracks with 808 beats, introducing your "boys" (historic mathematicians) that you want to introduce any particular day.
Fourth, stimulate the class with math problems such as how to move bricks from bando A to bando B, the fastest route there is while avoiding pigs - there you can introduce geometry, topology, logic problems, games theory and the like.
