I thought Statistics was supposed to be a meme. I honestly miss solving integrals with the bag of tricks. At least those were fun. It wasn't supposed to turn out this way.

As an added bonus, if you actually do end up learning statistics, you're going to rage all the time because you'll be able to see how often you're being lied to by those who misrepresent the meaning of different statistics they show you.

Everybody takes AP stats and they think it's all just a meme where you take an average, maybe find a variance, and if you're REALLY pushing the envelope you're doing a confidence interval or simple linear regression or something, but then college hits and you're thinking "Mathematical stats? Stats? Psh, easy A" and waiting behind that curtain is the worst experience of your life.

Statistics is a meme. It's very different from other math subjects.

You had one chance. One opportunity to make your major worth something monetarily, and you blew it. You at least picked up some programming? Not him, but I regret this now. I actually do know programming but my code always becomes a spaghetti and I don't really know how to solve this. All my cohorts from college ended up in some programming or data analysis position and I'm the only one still in academia.

MS in Statistics, this is a true statement.
How often I rage against how statistics is used to scare people.

What they say:
Disease kills 50% of the people it infects and the number of infected has increased by 500% in the last year alone. We need $120 million to study it.
What they do not say:
Truth is this very rare disease has killed 43 people this year (all in a small community of near mongoloid intelligence immigrants) ... the disease can easily be prevented by washing your hands.
