>>12935880i suppose. i just think it's flawed thinking. we suffer because that's what life is. i don't remember who said it but it was something like, "life is mostly suffering, because for instance the pain of the hare is far greater than the joy of the wolf that caught it, so it would be better if there were nothing". nature just sucks and evolution producers survivors not happy things
not that i'm trying to sound deep. i've just been thinking a lot about this stuff lately
>>12936376this, basically. we're a cosmic accident and the only things that matter are what we decide matters. so basically humans (the violent selfish primates that we are, thanks nature) need to value other humans. unfortuantely we're bad at it, because as i said, nature doesn't produce unified space explorers, it produces hungry, greedy things that struggle to understand themselves
t. not a communist or whatever
and still not deep. just coming to believe very firmly that humanity's all that matters
unfortunately people are also dumb and easily controlled and those with near-unlimited power and resources likely do not have our best interests at heart
but what if our best interests are self-destructive? then we have to choose between surviving through the end of the universe or being happy
just things i think about i dunno man
