Some anon on /x/ (yeah I know) has posted documents claiming an asteroid 50-70km in size is just near Jupiter and is on a crash course with Earth in 3 months time. Someone else in thread is claiming other observatories have confirmed.

Now I don't know shit about fuck particularly science, so I was hoping some kind anon here could explain to me why this makes sense or is complete horseshit.
