Could be biochemistry, thermochemistry, etc. It is a very complex field, so one chemist might have a better understanding of a certain field of chemistry than another, like Hydrochemist and their obsession over H2O. However, every chemist should know the basics and if you don't understand certain concepts then you're NGMI.
