Pick up some skills. Learn how to work on cars, read books, anything that's actually useful. Just remember that very few people are naturally great at anything. Improvement takes time.

Get a hobby. It could be anything, though I would recommend it being something you would take pride in doing.

Some examples:
Wood working, machinery, welding, photography, drawing/sketching, math, horticulturery/botany.
