Welp, so full disclosure I work for a very large telescope one of the largest and basically 2 or 3 of the biggest sites have detected an asteroid as of an hour ago that is about 50-90~km in diameter from what we can see and it's interstellar, it will impact with about 99.93% certainty as the observation arc continues it looks to proceed to 100%.
We're done, oh yeah it's about 3 months out before impact, we're already alerted NASA and ESA but haven't heard anything. It's at an immense speed and we can't quite figure out its albedo it's extremely dim. They don't actually know if it's an asteroid it's currently unknown and could possible be some ET ship or some shit but it's probably just a weird iron asteroid.
