after many years of study, i decided to focus on two points of correlation that hadn't been explored before. after 3.5yrs of work, i passed the viva. taught for 2 years after that, and decided to not renew my contract because i couldn't stand the politics and power trips the head of the dept seemed to enjoy so much. started my own business and never looked back. the phd taught me how to think on both sides of an issue, and made me a bit arrogant, but in a (somewhat) good way.
