I just finished going through Griffiths Particle Physics and I am hoping to find another Particle/Nuclear physics book with slightly higher difficulty.

The only other quality book I have heard of is the peskin and schroeder QFT book. So hopefully theres other physics majors that can help me out

unfortunately the problem you're going to quickly realize if you haven't already is that you don't have any idea "why" you're doing what you're doing, so you'll have to go through QFT at some point to fix that. I recommend Srednicki's QFT book free online for a first-pass at QFT, even though I think peskin/schroeder is the better book, simply because it's fairly introductory.

Yeah best to use Peskin & Schroeder like you and everyone suggests. I'll just throw out another book just in case you want a look:
Schwartz Quantum Field Theory and the Standard Model
Also, watch Sidney Coleman's old QFT lectures. Just for fun.

Thanks for both of your suggestions. I already have peskin and schroeder downloaded (I'm hoping to get a physical copy once I have the money). I like to have multiple books on the same subjects for multiple points of veiw, if that makes sense.

yeah just know that it takes you like 100-200 pages depending on which QFT book before you do any real-world calculation

Well have a look at Schwartz because it's pretty modern, has a nice useful appendix, and such. It pretty much contains all Peskin and Schroeder does and maybe a bit more, so it's a perfect companion I think. But you definitely want Peskin & Schroeder as it's the standard and most other papers and books will reference it.

I haven't even read Griffiths but have heard Klauber is the most accessible QFT textbook, not as complete as standard textbooks, of course, but it might be useful as a bridge to Peskin and Schroeder.
