How to know if my leg implant is titanium or steel? All i know is 'endomedullary cannulated tibial nail CTN 10-360' and the year it was implanted (2007).
I now need to do an MRI scan of my other leg (to look for shin splints) and just found out that metal implants other than titanium are not allowed in the MRI machine. What can i do, go for a CT scan instead, try ask the hospital for my old records to see the implant material?
