Alexa/Siri/Cortana have infinitely better voice recognition and language processing than either dogs or birds.
Shitty MobileNet for phones has image recognition that's probably on par with birds though I'd say somewhat less than dogs. I downloaded a random picture of a car off of google and it classified it correctly. Don't know many birds that can do that from an arbitrary picture.
We've already got software that can recognize faces, track people in videos, etc. One of the ways we assess a crows intelligence was by noting that it could count the number of people entering and exiting a building so it knew when it was empty. AI can already do that.
There's a rapidly shrinking subset of problems that it can't do well. Abstract reasoning is the big one, but a lot of animals are bad at that. Famous example is koalas not recognizing leaves that have been picked off of trees as food. I'd say current tech outperforms these brainlets.
