Try writing down a definition for each and you'll see what I mean. Once you have a definition of what these words mean, it should be obvious whether or not a given action belongs in a certain group as you've defined it (i.e. an action is "good" if it matches the definition of "good").
Most theists use an appeal to authority to give their definitions legitmacy, but if you don't buy into divine revelation then you're really free to decide for yourself. There are lots of theories.
Personally, I don't bother with this line of thinking in the first place as I don't see any benefit to labeling my actions and don't recognize any authority capable of passing judgement on them. I just do as I do, and more often than not it makes sense to help someone else and usually feels good too.
