>>12923484I make $150/h and I work 20 hours a week, 50 weeks a year. That’s $3,000/week, or $150,000/year.
My cost of living is $25,000/year (insurance, food, gas, etc.).
So before taxes I’m $125,000 in the green.
I inherited enough money that I would never have to work, but I enjoy my career. I also make roughly $35,000 in dividends every year.
So I’m in the green for roughly $155,000/year before taxes.
Tell me, where do you live where making $155,000/year is shit money? Here in my state it puts me square in the upper 10% of earners. And if I want more I can easily work more. Not bad for a masters degree.
