hey /math/ i’m a physicist here who promised to post my informal review of weinstein’s paper. one thing i am having trouble with is his very mathematical perspective of viewing physics theories using differential geometry
usually when i see stuff about fiber bundles i usually kind of try to read through and connect it to what i much more fully understand about gauge theories and christoffel symbols. but i was just wondering if anybody has any life hacks to sort out the following math terms :
>principle bundle
>adjoint bundle
>frame bundle
i don’t want anything advanced. just if there are heuristics or pnemonics or useful pictures (that are more helpful than a hairbrush at least). thanks /math/
