I'm looking for the name of a supposed health issue when using centrifugal forces to generate artificial gravity in space for space shuttles/stations, but can't quite remember what it was called.
I believe it had to do with blood pooling in the extremities of astronauts as a negative side effect of using centrifugal forces... Something along the lines of "Corrington effect", but really not sure. I also understand this as being one of the reasons (but not the only reason) as to why centrifugal forces have yet to be utilized for things like the ISS.
Google has not managed to answer this question for me, and because I first saw this term being used on /sci/, I've come back here to try and find out the answer.
tl;dr - What's the name of the particular health issue brought about when attempting to use centrifugal forces for generating artificial gravity in space stations/shuttles? Something to do with blood pooling in the extremities, I think.
