Just in general our language is very convoluted
The scientific method and the language slow everything way way way down
All you need is experiment and video.
People can come up with their own assumptions about "why" something works. For every one thing we figure out or accept as truth and go forward, there is something underneath it that it stands on that we do not understand.
The realm of science is contrived far more than it needs to be
Imagine you never learned the ability to verbally or symbolically communicate, and you had to "do science".
You would just show the trending behavior of different properties, their interactions, all relative to perception.
The academic community is, imo, intentionally slowed down, taught to adhere to a standard, and wrought with egotism and insecurity.
You don't need 2 floors of student papers you need to visually record interactions of experimentation and not talk outside perhaps labelling.
Don't tell people what's happening either, let them make their own discoveries.
