My method is fast for a day or two while I have no obligations. Eat a solid quantity of X food, then monitor the results.
You will notice different foods will also alter your mental state. I find I am more aggressive when I eat meat personally.
Now if you take nutrition seriously, your cravings will come from your body saying "hey that thing you ate two months ago, I need more of it now"
But our cultures craving centers have been hijacked for pleasure and coping mechanisms.
Get the knowledge in your body. Your "intuition" can then take the wheel instead of having to hold these scrolls of text via language in your mind.
