>Have terrible, crippling OCD for years, start doing tons of research
>Finally find out OCD is due to a damaged gut and you need to repair gut health
>Begin taking a probiotic and eating gut healthy foods
>Over time my OCD drastically improves and I actually feel normal for once
>Every now and then I still have random OCD spikes where my mind is racing
>Do more research and find out that it is also caused by an imbalance between gaba and glutamate
>Look up foods high in glutamate - cheese, nuts, nut butters, grains - cut all of them out of my diet almost completely except for the grains because I need the calories
>Feel even better, my mind is calm and I can focus on things much easier, I'm almost completely normal now
>Never have OCD spikes anymore

All of a sudden today I have an OCD spike and my mind is racing. What the hell could possibly be causing it now? Is it that I drastically cut down on red meat? I know it has a lot of minerals and such and that could be the issue, but I take magnesium and b-complex already. Other than that my diet has been the same. Is it sunscreen? I used a lot of sunscreen yesterday when outside and maybe that can mess with you.
