>>12909602lol yeah bro, serotonin is all that matters and blah blah. Do you even know how psychedelics work? (hint: nobody does). Theres a reason nobody trips on SSRIs, and that's because its not entirely how they work. Serotonin moderates so many things in the brain, and as someone whos been on many different SSRIs, they do not have the same side effects. its not even remotely an area of science thats understood, and 99% of the discussion about serotonergic on the internet is herp derp theyre bad. I find psilocin to be very similar to cannabinoids like thc, even though they work two separate ways. Its not like serotonin like molecules just bash into the 5 HT receptor and thats the start tripping button
>>12909655idk its not a great risk unless OP is already at a heroic dose or something. If OP feels nauseous or anything like that after taking his lexapro then sure, he should wait. But otherwise is he feels normal there likely isnt any risk. SSRIs very commonly have the same side effects of serotonin syndrome for very obvious reasons. Even then its highly unlikely that OP could give it to himself through a tab of acid. Average rate of SS in people who use SSRIs is 15%, unless OP is sensitive, these are his odds.
