>>129053581) Following the logic of the argument, there should be multiple layers of simulation, if we assume that more than one civilisation reached a sufficiently advanced state to create such a simulation, we would most likely be very far "down" the simulation train, in wich case the resolution of reality ought to be very low, not to mention the lag.
2) A civilisation that becomes suficiently advanced to make such a civilisation would presumably have a good understanfing of consciusness. This means they would have to be evil if they created the universe in the way it is, and if they are, I doubt they would have gotten as far as they did as a civilisation.
