second progress in physics has stagnated for the last 60 years, after the discovery of the CMB.
the higgs boson thing is really just putting a nail in the coffin of physics. It cost 2 billions over 20 years and nobody gives a fucking shit and has basically zero consequence, good or bad.

Anyway pysics is pretty munch fucked even on the ''metaphysical side'', because scientists still can't answer why immaterial rules act on matter and where do those rule come from.
The whole dogma for the secular scientist is that matter is governed by rules, but they can't prove those rules are not man-made. So overall physics is just as bad as monotheism.
And now that all the low and high hanging fruits have been picked, scientists dont really know where to go from their dead end.'They haven't answered the deep questions and their theoretical basis is murky due to scientific-mathematical realism being preposterous, just like the one of the theists they attacked during the enlightenment period.
