I have heard their chapters on module theory is quite bad, but I don't know of any better alternatives. I've learnt a lot of ring and field theory from this book and I think I will work through Aluffi next.

Why go through multiple abstract algebra texts? Isn't dummit and Foote enough? Shouldn't you be working through a graduate level number theory course?
