I would highly recommend starting here before moving onto more specific topics. The typical university style of learning physics is to start with a brief overview of pretty much everything, then go into specific subsets of physics (e.g., classical mechanics, statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, optics, etc.) into more detail, followed by advanced topics (e.g., particle physics, solid-state physics, general relativity, etc.)
