Europoor here. I want to sequence my DNA just for curiosity. I've researched some companies and found Nebula Genomics to be my most likely option to go. They sequence all of your DNA up to x100 for a kind of fair price and give you about 250 of reports with medical and ancestry information. They also say they keep your genetic data into a blockchain so you can control who accesses it and potentially uses.
However, reading their TOS and privacy policy I found some stuff I am not convinced about
>their x30/x100 Sequencing lab is in hong kong = China could/would get my data before its encrypted
>Being an europoor, it would be retarded to hire a non EU company because GDPR and future consecuences, even though they say to be GDPR compliant
>In case of leakage or data transfer, how could they use my DNA against me beyond getting into a US/China government suspect list and getting more expensive insurances or information reveal blackmailing by hackers?
Any discussion/alternatives/ideas are welcome
