I like reading about superstition, as it is a part of my countryes culture. It is an interesting part of history, it is an interesting aspect of psychology and anthropology. It is a product of our naturally patternseaking minds, and the terrifying randomness of the world. There is a place for it, as ther is a place for Santaclause. It is a part of our culture, and can and should be respected as such, but it is not something to believe in.
