Do you not see how both retarded and problematic that notion is as an objective function for the advancement of human knowledge? It entrenches nepotism and creates extreme friction for anyone who wants to research things not in line with the Zeitgeist, which by definition is incorrect in science anyways as science is disconfirmatory in nature.
