>>12892656Dont anon. You get out what you put in when you join a frat. But honestly frats are pretty cringe. I joined because I was naive, and wanted to get closer to my bio brother who was in it when he was at university.
The people, especially the ones who stick around, are all very similar, they are interesting, but they usually have issues that they never address. The issue with that is they end up getting way to caught up in their bullshit. Personality wise, they have aspirations, though they are superficial at best. You are not likely to meet anyone who can come up with interesting ideas, or have an interesting conversation past what girl they fucked or how much of some substance they consumed was. Ofc there are some interesting people, though they hardly stick around for longer than a year. Also, expect to be roped into the group politics, and if it is a large frat they tend to be very cliquey.
For me personally I lost a lot of aspiration to do anything, though I didn't have much aspiration to do anything. And as much as I hate to admit it, the only thing that got me out of that slump was drugs.
The people you will meet can be summed up in pic related, maybe minus the racist shit as they tend to be very 'woke'.
